Biaxin is used to treat respiratory and skin bacterial infections . It is also used with other drugs for the treatment of stomach ulcers that occur as a result of Helicobacter pylori. The generic name of the drug is Clarithromycin

Don’t take an overdose of Biaxin. In case of an overdose, seek immediate medical attention. The side effects of a Biaxin overdose are vomiting, severe stomach pain, and nausea. While taking Biaxin, you must avoid antibiotics that may cause diarrhea.
You must store Biaxin at room temperature, away from moisture. Don’t keep the oral suspension in a refrigerator.
